Project Overview: High-end Home Renovation

Located in the heart of Hampton, this high-end home renovation transforms a dated suburban dwelling into a timeless, minimalist sanctuary. The design response is grounded in a restrained material palette, soft tonal contrasts, and a focus on spatial clarity. Central to the reimagining is the seamless integration of indoor and outdoor living, achieved through expansive glazing, a refined backyard landscape, and a new plunge pool that anchors the site.

The architectural form has been simplified to celebrate proportion and shadow, with crisp rectilinear volumes and a neutral render finish that complements the surrounding coastal context. Internally, bespoke joinery, warm timber textures, and layered natural light create an atmosphere of calm sophistication. Spatial planning has been reconfigured to better support contemporary family life, with an emphasis on flow, connection, and functional zoning.

Key features include a concealed lounge nook, a curated landscape of native grasses and textured paving, and a monolithic outdoor bench that mirrors the architecture’s quiet strength. This project embodies understated luxury and responds directly to the client’s brief for a private, refined home that feels both grounded and elevated.
