This project is a renovation of an original Heritage-Listed Terrace house on Beaconsfield Parade in Albert Park. It brings together period character, contemporary detailing and a rich, moody tonal palette. Original features provide the backdrop for a more expressive interior, where deep reds and the distinctive veining of Viola stone introduce warmth, texture and individuality. Contemporary elements sit alongside traditional detailing, creating a dialogue between the home’s history and its next chapter.

The design balances bold material choices with restrained forms, allowing colour and texture to take centre stage while maintaining a sense of cohesion throughout. A considered renovation that celebrates the character of an Albert Park townhouse while giving it a distinctly contemporary identity.
