Designed for its sloping Airlie Beach setting, this new coastal home brings together clean architectural forms, soft textures and tropical planting. Our approach balances strong horizontal rooflines with slender columns and vertical screening, creating depth and rhythm across the façade. A restrained palette of warm whites and sandy tones connects the home to its coastal surroundings, while subtle material changes give each element its own character.

The design steps with the terrain, breaking the building into a series of connected forms that soften its presence from the street. Generous glazing opens towards an elevated terrace, bringing indoor and outdoor living into close conversation, while screening offers a sense of enclosure without losing the openness of the architecture. Integrated planting softens the built edges, supporting our vision for a home that feels calm, welcoming and naturally suited to life in the Whitsundays.
