Multi-Residential Development,
Kooyong Road Toorak VIC
Dominion apartments is a multi-residential development nestled leafy heart of Melbourne’s most exclusive suburb – Toorak. It was created from a collaboration between one of Australia’s leading residential design specialists, Rob Mills Architecture, Paul Bangay Landscape Architects, and Osanrae Property Developments. The building consists of 13 spectacular luxury residences with minimalist high end interior design that was meticulously detailed and beautifully finished. Dominion’s warm, timeless ambience is replete with bespoke elegance and designer crafted quality from the European inspired facade, through to the open terraces and interiors beyond.
Located on one of Melbourne’s most distinguished residential streets, Kooyong Road in Toorak, Dominion Apartments offer the perfect blend of sophistication and simplicity and was a SOLD OUT project. Design work was completed whilst employed by RMA (copyright RMA).

Scope of Work
INTERIOR DESIGN
Well considered, warm interiors are an essential addition to the modern architecture of this development. The colour palette was kept neutral and minimal to allow for a timeless impact celebrating the quality of materials.
CONCEPT DESIGN
The facade takes inspiration from shopfronts in European cities like Paris and Milan, offering a blend of Limestone with Bronze Metal as a nod to their timeless design. Designed by RMA.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
In this phase, we further developed our ideas, adding refinement to the design concept involving co-ordinating the engagement and suggestions of relevant specialist consultants such as the Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer, Building Surveyor etc. This involved several detailed meetings prior to lodging for planning.
TOWNPLANNING
A planner was engaged for this development.
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION
In this phase, we worked on preparing Construction Drawings in preparation for tendering to builders for works. These drawings form the documentation for a Building Permit, consisting of existing / demo drawings, proposed plans, elevations, sections, internal elevations, construction details, joinery details, electrical and lighting plans, schedules of fittings, fixtures and materials, window schedules and project specifications.
